Welcome to the BitByBit help center! We’ve gathered the most common questions from our community to help you start your miniature journey with confidence.

1. General Questions

  • What is included in a BitByBit kit? Every kit comes with pre-cut plywood sheets, fabric/paper accessories, an LED light kit (if mentioned), and a detailed English instruction manual. We also include basic tools to get you started.
  • Are glue and batteries included? Due to international and domestic shipping safety regulations, we cannot include liquid glue or batteries. You will typically need silicone liquid glue (or white glue) and standard batteries (AAA or button cells, depending on the model).
  • What is the recommended age? Most of our kits are designed for ages 10 and up. However, younger builders can definitely enjoy them with the help and supervision of an adult!

2. Buildings & Technical Support

  • How long does it take to build a kit? This depends on the model! Our smaller kits (like the Rubik’s Series) take about 3–5 hours, while larger, more detailed houses can take 10–20 hours. It’s meant to be a relaxing process, so take your time!
  • What if I break or lose a piece? We know how delicate these pieces can be! If you accidentally break a vital component, please email us at info@bitbybitkits.com with a photo of the piece. We'll try our best as a Texarkana-based small business to send you a replacement from our workshop.
  • Do I need to paint the pieces? Most pieces come pre-colored or with decorative paper. However, you are always welcome to use your paints to give your BitByBit house a unique, personal touch!

3. Shipping & Orders

  • Where do you ship from? All orders are packed and shipped directly from our facility at 4318 Laurel St, Texarkana, Arkansas.
  • How long will it take to get my order? We usually process orders within 1–2 business days. Once shipped, standard transit time is 3–5 business days across the U.S.
  • Do you offer free shipping? Yes! We offer FREE Standard Shipping on all orders of $65 or more. For orders under $65, we have a simple flat rate of $4.99.

4. Safety & Returns

  • Are these kits safe for small children? Our kits contain tiny parts that could be a choking hazard. Please keep them out of reach of children under 3 years old and pets.
  • What is your return policy? We offer a 30-day return policy for unopened and unused kits in their original packaging.
